Alexander Kovalskiy is an accomplished software developer and product owner with over a decade of experience in the software development industry. Holding a BSc in Computer Science from Riga Technical University, Alexander’s expertise spans multiple programming languages including C/C++, goLang, PL/SQL, Java, and Javascript. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a profound commitment to creating robust software architectures and comprehensive documentation, facilitating efficient collaboration among developers, and expediting code implementation processes.
Currently, Alexander serves as the Product Owner for our e-commerce line, where he strategically directs the development of their merchant portal and 3D Secure authentication solution. His role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, aligning product features with market needs and customer feedback to enhance user experience and security. By prioritizing the product backlog and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality releases, Alexander continuously innovates to maintain a competitive edge in the e-commerce landscape.
In his previous role as a Senior Architect for our Tokenization Platform, Alexander was pivotal in the research and development phases, crafting intricate architectural designs for globally distributed solutions. His responsibilities extended to overseeing Quality Assurance procedures and providing post-project support, ensuring the highest standards of software delivery. Alexander’s technical acumen also encompasses a deep understanding of databases, including Oracle, MS Access, MS SQL, and Postgres, as well as specialized knowledge in banking, payment card, and risk management systems.
Throughout his career, Alexander participated in several notable projects, such as enhancing credit card systems, developing ATM functionalities, and deploying card systems across various banks. His roles have ranged from developer and team lead to integrator and support engineer, showcasing his versatile skill set and ability to adapt to diverse project requirements. Alexander’s dedication to continuous learning and cross-cultural collaboration further underscores his leadership in the software development field.
